Security and Safety Film
Security and Safety Film Protects your glass from impact
Security Film increases the ability of glass to resist breaking and shattering.
It is used to provide window security and reduce risks from breaking and
entering, explosions, bomb blasts, household and commercial accidents.
Security Film is a layer of tough plastic that is tightly bonded to the
glass. When the glass breaks, the film holds the shards in place providing
shatter protection. Security film can be applied to existing windows and
in combination with various other window films.
Security Film protects against Bomb Blasts
Flying glass is the major cause of injury in urban bomb blasts. The high
tensile strength of Security Film contains the glass, maintaining the
integrity of the pane and preventing injury.
Safety Film prevents injuries
Accidents involving glass are common and can be severe. Safety Film on
your glass will protect your family, customers, employees and friends
from injury. As such security film is widely used in schools, factories,
public areas and child care centers. The use of security film is sufficient
for compliance with AS/NZ 2208.
Security Film protects your property
Security and Safety film provides excellent protection from, vehicle impact
and smash and grab attempts. Whilst the underlying glass may crack, the
pane will remain intact preventing ingress and access to the contents
of your property. Would-be thieves will severely hampered in their attempts
to deal with Security Film.
